Okavango Guiding School (OGS) was created to empower local Motswana guides in the tourism industry and to help improve the guiding standard in Botswana, and particularly, to create guides capable of leading birding safaris. The school has expanded greatly since it's inception in 2004 and now runs numerous FGASA (Field Guides Association of Southern Africa) and BOTA (Botswana Training Authority) endorsed courses at their bush training camp in the Okavango Delta. OGS also runs courses for international students interested in an educational bush experience.
