Birding Holidays and Safaris in Namibia

With habitats ranging from the riparian woodlands along the Zambezi and Kavango rivers in the east of the country, through the teak and Brachystegia woodlands of the Caprivi Strip, into the highlands of the Waterberg and the desert beyond, Namibia is an incredibly diverse birding destination. The roads are generally well maintained and getting around is fairly simple with one or two exceptions where a 4x4 is necessary. It's a country full of breathtaking landscapes, a place where you can stop walking and hear your heart beat. Nothing beats it and no-one does it better than us.

Our custom-built birding cruiser eats up the often large mileages in comfort and style and allows us to go anywhere in this Pandora's box of landscapes that roll in into the great blue yonder. Birding is rewarding all around Namibia but special mention must be made of the Walvis Bay and Swakopmund areas where the extraordinary number of birds during the summer months are enough to stagger even the seasoned birder.
